Last night I had the most bizarre experience, and I am not quite sure what to do with it.
It all started because I had downloaded Wendi Friesen’s Financial Abundance program MP3’s, and I burned them to CD’s so I could listen to them with some good quality headphones before I go to sleep. Last night I was on day 4 which is called “meet your future.” If you don’t know who Wendi is, she does hypnosis and helps others to learn hypnotism through her amazing hypnotism audios. These are life changing sessions!
Anyhow, during the hypnosis session I visualized myself very successful in the future and I was in front of a very large audience talking, and the people gave me a standing ovation and seemed to really like me. Now, just the thought of talking in front of ANYONE sort of terrifies me, as I am a behind the scenes kind of gal. And here I was, and actually enjoying myself too.
That was nice, but it is what happened AFTER that session that I am talking about. I turned off the CD player and settled down to go to sleep, but after about 15 minutes or so my mind started racing.
All at once I not only very clearly saw what has been holding me back all of these years, but I was creating an entire speech in my head based on that very revelation. A speech that was tailor made to stand up in front of a crowd with.
It was a lesson in the law of attraction and overcoming limiting beliefs, which I have been studying for awhile, but it isn’t a topic that I would ever have based a speech on, or felt like I knew enough about it to teach others.
I was so tired but I couldn’t shut my mind off and I didn’t want to forget, so I got up and started writing. The words went down on the paper as quickly as if I were talking to someone. The only notebook I could find was a 5″x 8″, but I cranked out 14 or 15 pages in under a half hour. Then I went back to bed and I STILL kept thinking of things to add to my “speech”, but I was so tired that I finally went to sleep. Of course today I have forgotten the last little bit, but I had to get some sleep! It was 1:30 in the morning by this time and I had had a pretty rough day.
It was just the most amazing thing! So all day today I have been wondering what to do with this new speech I have. Maybe it will just sit on paper for awhile? After all, how often does one get the chance to give a speech?
My takeaway from this is that I had a profound insight into what has been holding me back all of these years (junk from my childhood), so I can change my path going forward. All it took was ONE hypnosis session too!
After this experience with hypnosis, I can definitely see the value in it for self growth, and will be using it on a regular basis. In fact, my experience even inspired my to start this blog.
I wonder what else I can do with it???
