I am loooking to hypnosis to cure this does it work is it a good idea.
I am looking into this and i need confidence can hypnosis really do this.

Quite possibly, depending on how suggestible you are; see below:
Stuttering/stammering: Consult a speech therapist, soon. One speech therapist advises that slowing your speech is not the solution, but, for those who can’t access therapy: Try deliberately slowing your speech. You could try several different talking speeds: 85%, 90%, 95%, and 100% Consider your current rate of speech as being 105%; a rate at which you stutter frequently. Go back to 85%, then slowly increase, in stages, until you begin to stutter noticeably: then go back to 85%, and work your way up to the rate before you began stuttering at a rate that you find unacceptable. Keep at that rate, for a good while, maybe later, risking stepping it up one more notch; confident that you can always work your way back up from 85% again.

Think of it in terms of modem speeds on your computer: if that speed is set too high for the connection to the ISP, there will be problems. You may well be currently "overclocking" your speech modem: the difference between your brain speed, and the rate at which you are able to speak clearly and distinctly, without stuttering markedly, is the issue. Stammering may be a symptom of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) which can be diagnosed and treated by a clinical psychologist, or psychiatrist. In the mean time, I have heard that if you start to breath out just before you begin vibrating your vocal cords to make sound, that establishes momentum that helps reduce stammering. It may be worth trying. View www.stammering.com/ and http://www.stammering.ch/

See http://www.stutteringhelp.org/ and http://www.stuttering.net/ and http://www.stutteringtreatment.org/ and http://www.speakeasy.org.au/ and http://www.stuttering.org/bsrp.html

It may also be helpful to visit http://your-mental-health.8m.com/blank_25.html (social anxiety is addressed there, and on page e; OCD also; see pages f, and i) about self confidence, and self esteem, and try the EFT version for use in public places, for which you can reasonably claim to have a headache, as you massage/tap your temples, at www.mercola.com SEARCHBAR "eft" and "eft therapists locator" or www.tapping.com, (13 free videos) or www.emofree.com saying/subvocalising to yourself something like: "Even though I may sometimes stutter/stammer, I deeply and completely accept myself". Stuttering is thought to involve more than speech, but also to involve your breathing pattern, and feelings. It may always be with you, to some extent, but the idea is to minimise it, and not let it hold you back in life.

Read: Self-Therapy for the Stutterer by Malcolm Fraser, and Yoga for Stuttering: Unifying the Voice, Breath, Mind & Body to Achieve Fluent Speech by J. M. Balakrishnan, from your bookstore, or enter "stuttering" in the searchbar at Amazon.com. Hypnotism is merely a heightened state of suggestibility, in which you are better able to communicate with your subconscious mind. 85% of people are suggestible, to some extent, so preferably consider professional hypnotherapy, or, if not an option hypnosisdownloads.com has one about stuttering, and asktheinternettherapist.com has a similar CD.

I watched a video over a year ago of this erotic hypnosis session, but in it she tells you that you need to trust her. I figured why not and went through with the session, and then at the end before she takes you out of the trance she tells you to buy more of her videos on her website. I went to the website after that with good hopes, and then saw one video on there that basically had her doing reverse psychology, hypnotising you, and telling you things like "dont’ look into my eyes, don’t become obsessed with me, don’t become obsessed, don’t spend all your money on me, I don’t control your mind" and stuff like that for over 40 minutes. I watched it mainly to test my mind but in the end I felt like I had been hypnotised and it freaked me out and I turned it off. I then forgot about it for about 6 months until I remembered it and it started scaring me. I kept getting random thoughts about her, I then saw the video one more time, but not to watch it all the way through but just see certain parts to test myself. I instantly felt myself go back into a trance when I did that and I turned it off out of fear.

Anyway, 6 more months later and I remembered her and became really fearful. I then saw some link on her website for a hypnosis "reprogramming tool" to undue any negative thoughts caused by hypnosis. I went through with it, hoping it would make me get rid of any obsessive thoughts of her. I felt at first that it worked, but then soon I was worrying more that it made me worse than ever. I did it two more times to be safe, and still it seemed to just cause me to think of her more. And I was worried she may has planted something else in my mind from it.

My question to all of you is…after reading what I had to say, do you think I’m okay? Am I just over worrying? I’m scared that my brain has been seeded and I won’t be able to get these thoughts out. I don’t know if it’s just me being obsessive compulsive or if it’s what she did. Can you be mind controlled from watching a video? Can you be brainwashed from under hypnosis? I’m worried at night that I sleep walk and go on my computer and watch more videos. Though there isn’t any proof to back this up (I constantly check my history and windows media history but nothing ever shows different from the night before)

Am I just over worrying? I just want to stop thinking of her, but lately I’ve been so stressed and everytime I think of her it just adds on to it. I even get dreams sometimes of her and it’s just very stressful.

What do you all think?
Oh yeah, and it didn’t help either that when I saw the first video with negative mind control, there were comments in the video with people saying "YES THAT WAS WONDERFUL, I GIVE MY LIFE TO YOU" or saying "I want to be your slave." and stuff like that.

John, a hypnotist can’t make anyone do anything that they would otherwise be unwilling to do.

Hypnotism is not brainwashing. It is mainly used to help people overcome problems which they are willing to overcome. For example it may help you to become a more confident person, it may help you to get rid of your addictions, it may help you to relax, it may help you to deal better with stress and anxiety, and so on, but it will never ever make you do anything against your will.

Maybe the hypnotist that you are talking about is hot and you are sexually attracted to her. When you find someone attractive you want to look into their eyes, so she only plays on that fact when she says, "Don’t look into my eyes" and other lame stuff like that.

Right, she might be using reverse psychology, but you are always in control. If you thought that hypnosis can be used to make you do things against your will then you might simply be worrying too much about it. Be assured that hypnosis will not make you do anything that you don’t want to do. You are probably watching her videos simply because you want to, because they are erotic and fulfill your fantasies, and NOT because you are under some hypnotic spell.

Unless you have made yourself believe that she has some special, supernatural powers, you can enjoy her erotic videos and laugh at all her so called hypnotic suggestions, weather they use reverse psychology or not. Or you can find someone more erotic than her on the web, or preferably in real life.

Another possibility is that you might be suffering from an anxiety disorder such as Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). OCD is characterized by intrusive, unwanted thoughts that cause anxiety and by repetitive behaviors that are aimed at reducing that anxiety. It is recommended to seek professional help in case you are suffering from an anxiety disorder such as OCD.

Having a lot of trouble losing weight – not able to stick with anything, have developed many bad habits. wondering if anyone has any personal experience with hypnosis for weight loss. Or is it all just a waste of money?

Hypnosis does work, but not in the way that people commonly believe. A hypnosis recording that simply repeats over and over that ‘you will not eat… you will only eat healthy foods’ is not going to help anyone.
What a good hypnotist will do is to use hypnosis to find out why you eat, what psychological reason is behind the eating behaviour. Hypnosis allows the person to uncover and then remove the real reason they are over eating. Problem eating is always about issues of control or love.

I am a professional hypnotherapist and I deal with problem eaters every week. Everyone has a different reason for their behavior. For example a client last week was found to be eating because that was how she rebelled against her pushy parents who told her to eat ‘properly’. Another discovered a remark made years ago from her dad to her sister ‘I love Clara because she always eats her dinner. Why can’t you’? That remark stuck in her head and she learned to associate eating with getting dad’s love.

So yes, hypnosis can help with weight loss, but it is never a simple case of listening to some hypnotic instructions.

i’m 13, but i want to learn things like hypnotherapy and self hypnotism and remote viewing.. i don’t want to take a course or read a book, is there any websites that teach this or any podcasts or mp3′s i can download to learn this. it is just i skill i want to have..
i already checked there is no one in my city… 2 hours away yes, but i am not that desperate, i can’t anyways i’m 13 and can’t drive and my parents would think i’m a nutcase
i meant there are no teachers or centers near me

Here’s the deal. You can’t be a lazy sod and say "I don’t want to…" if you’re commited to it, you’ll do what it takes. Like me, I’m 14, and I didn’t want to spend money on learning Japanese, but I ended up doing so because half of the stuff on the internet is trash.
So, read a book. You can get loads with CDs and stuff that give you examples etc.
