i wan’t to try this method but its kinda pricey is there anyone out there who has had it and failed or succeded and what was it like?
I have to disagree with Linda’s answer. Hypnosis won’t work for everyone – just like anything else. I’m sure there are plenty of people for who it’s worked just fine. It certainly depends on how receptive you are to hypnosis and besides that definitively on the quality and probably also quantity – so yes, it could be pricey – but overall surely not as pricey as continuing smoking.
I think hypnosis is one of the better choices in regards to quitting. You certainly don’t want (or need) to go down the path of NRTs or drugs – those "aids" don’t resolve anything.
I myself actually quit cold turkey – very easily I might add. Most people have difficulty with this method because they expect it to be hard and they will miss smoking. I found this too the first few times. The trick is to sort your head out BEFORE you quit. It’s all about your mindset. Be glad you don’t have to do that anymore – that you are getting rid of this filthy addiction. Never think you will miss it – that’s what makes it hard. But instead see yourself as happy, content and proud that you’ve done it.

Not always. I have tried hypnosis to quit smoking but it didnt work since I think, the urge is stronger in the subconscious mind than inducing hypnosis. I am an alternative medicine healer, and practice hypnotherapy, but if there is a strong mental block, you just cannot do anything to quit smoking, drinking, lose weight, or any addictions.

Did it work for you…My doctor has tried to get me to take pills to quit but I dont like most of the side effects I read about.

Hypnosis is excellent for smoking cessation. But you have to really wish to stop.
If you wish to stop because you feel that you should – for whatever reason – it wont work.
