It involves a more active and intense mental concentration. Hypnotized people can talk, write, and walk about. They are usually fully aware of what is said and done.

A hypnotist uses certain methods to induce (guide) hypnotism in another person. As the person responds to the methods, the person’s state of attention changes. This altered state often leads to various other changes or phenomena. For example, the person may experience different levels of awareness, consciousness, imagination, memory, and reasoning or become more responsive to suggestions. Additional phenomena may be produced or eliminated. Such phenomena may include sensations, blushing, sweating, paralysis, tensing of muscles, and anesthesia (loss of pain sensation). Scientists have shown that changes in almost every body function and system may occur with hypnotism.

None of the experiences of hypnotism are unique. Some or all of the phenomena can occur without the use of hypnotic techniques. For example, people who are very responsive to hypnosis show an increased responsiveness to suggestions before they are hypnotized. This responsiveness increases during hypnotism.

People once believed that hypnotists could force their subjects to perform criminal acts or other actions against the subjects’ will. There is no clear evidence to show that hypnosis causes such behavior. Hypnotized people can and do resist suggestions. They do not lose control of their actions and can distinguish between right and wrong.

Public performances of hypnotism are responsible for many popular misconceptions about hypnosis. Many people are first exposed to hypnotism through a magic show or a film. Such presentations often make hypnotism appear simple. They may tempt untrained people to try to perform hypnotism on themselves or on other people.

If self hypnosis then there are many books available, I have never used them I taught myself.

If you want to hypnotise others then you would be better to enrol on a recognised course in hypnotherapy.

I think you have to search and select a good guide to learn all these techniques. Theoretical knowledge may not really help. One should learn the secrets only from an adept Master of this subject. In China, Tibet and India, you may be able to find some such guides.

what do you do if you study hypnotism and your master uesing you but you can not do anythings because of he has got more spiritual power of you and you can not explaine to normall people what is going on in side of yourself? and you are under the stress and damage physicall body.

It’s not hypnotism, but it may be brainwashing – which is just as powerful.

This ‘master’ guy sounds predatory. For a start, anyone who calls themself a master is the least qualified to have that title. True Hypnotism is a therapy, not a parlour trick.

As someone above me has stated, a hypnotist cannot make you do anything you don’t subconsciously want to do. So therefore it is my belief you are in contact with a highly charismatic person who gets off on the amount of influence and control he has with you.

Belief is a dangerous thing. The only thing I can suggest you do is to break all ties with this person, and do your own research into what Hypnotism REALLY is.

i’m 13, but i want to learn things like hypnotherapy and self hypnotism and remote viewing.. i don’t want to take a course or read a book, is there any websites that teach this or any podcasts or mp3′s i can download to learn this. it is just i skill i want to have..
i already checked there is no one in my city… 2 hours away yes, but i am not that desperate, i can’t anyways i’m 13 and can’t drive and my parents would think i’m a nutcase
